Check the weather! Don’t paint on very windy days and avoid painting in direct sunlight.

JohnB replied to the topic Can you install a laminate in a bathroom? in the forum How to and DIY Projects 9 years, 1 month ago

I also think it’s a bad idea. A laminate is inappropriate for the wet areas in a house.

JohnB replied to the topic How to remove parquet? in the forum How to and DIY Projects 9 years, 1 month ago

One more thing: As you move closer to the center of the room, it can become harder to remove the parquet tiles because there is usually more glue in this area. So you might even need a hammar to break the tiles.

You’ll need a pry bar.  Use this tool under the edges of the parquet tiles to pop them.

I would recommend you to install water-temperature regulators which will prevent water temperature from rising to level that can be dangerous.

Shane, for the floor insulation you can use Tyroc Underlayment.  Tyroc panels could be installed over concrete floors and hidden under  carpet, linoleum or even ceramic tiles.

Diagonal cutters are perfect for cutting electrical wires. They are very convenient to use because of their scissor-like handles.

Hi Jeff! I would recommend swing-away bars. They are convenient for emergency escape and for cleaning the windows.

Wood fiber insulation worked for me. I used it for the walls and roof.

Omitting the porch could save you some money too. You can add it later anyway.

Stain markers and wax sticks would help to camouflage scratches.
