Description:

Marine Work

A. Furnish all labor, materials and equipment as necessary to complete the construction
of Tidelands, Various Locations, Fender Repair, remove and dispose of deteriorated or
broken timber fender piles, timber wales, chocks and accessories; install new and used
replacement fender piles, timber wales, chocks and accessories as shown in this
Specification and on Plans. The summary of work is:
(1) Tuna Boat Pier Fender Repair, Plans No. 2225, remove and dispose of
deteriorated or broken timber fender piles, timber wales, chocks and
accessories; install new and used replacement fender piles, timber wales,
chocks and accessories, raise fender wale system at project west side and end
of the pier, and all the work as shown on the Plans.
(2) Fish Harbor Pier Fender Repair, Plans No. 2272, remove and dispose of
deteriorated or broken timber fender piles, timber wales, chocks and
accessories; install new replacement fender piles, timber wales, chocks and
accessories, and all the work as shown on the Plans.
(3) Crosby Street Commercial Berthing Pier Fender Repair, Plans No. 2273, remove
and dispose of deteriorated or broken timber fender piles; remove and salvage
timber wales, chocks and accessories; install new steel corner frame and used
replacement timber chocks and accessories, and all the work as shown on the
Plans.
(4) National City Marine Terminal, Berths 24-10 and 24-11 Fender Repair, Plans No.
2827, remove and dispose of deteriorated or broken timber fender piles, timber
wales, chocks and accessories; install new and used replacement fender piles,
new timber wales, chocks and accessories, and all the work as shown on the
Plans.

B. Furnish all labor, materials and equipment as necessary to complete the construction
of Tidelands Floating Dock & Pile Demolition as shown in this Specifications and on
Plans No. 2221 (Part 2): a. Remove and dispose of existing broken slip and two (2)
concrete guide piles and deteriorated fender piles attached to the platform at Tuna Boat
Basin Inner Floating Dock.b.Remove and dispose of two (2) existing concrete guide
piles and two (2) sunken piles at south side of Fish Harbor Pier.
