Roof Upgrades, Various Parks, Number 418-71020; Re-roofing at the Kennedy Park Restroom, Lincoln Park Restroom, Montvue Park Restroom, La Casita Center (original building), & Washington Pool Equipment Room; Park sites are located throughout the city and are five separate structures in Pomona, California

Provide all necessary labor and materials to complete all required work tasks, including the following:
1. Washington Park Pool Equipment Room Roof: Remove all roofing material including all OSB and haul away; Re-sheet entire 20’x50’ roof with 5/8”-4’x8’ OSB sheeting; Install Duro-Last 50 mil roof on œ” insulation or equivalent roof system per manufacture’s recommendations & attach specifications; Install roof manufacturer’s edge trim and miscellaneous details to fascia; Clean up and haul away all roof related debris; Provide 15 year manufactures warranty.
2. Lincoln Park Restroom Roof: Remove roofing material, both layers of plywood, framing material between plywood, fascia & haul away; Install new Ÿ” T-1-11 plywood ceiling, frame new rafter members between T-1-11 plywood & install new œ” CDX plywood roof deck & install all new 2”x8” wood fascia; Any electrical conduit and fixtures that must be moved in order to rebuild restroom ceiling & roof is to be reused & installed in same location; Install Duro-Last 50 mil roof on œ” insulation or equivalent roof system per manufactures’ recommendations & attach specifications; Install roof manufacture’s edge trim and miscellaneous details to fascia; Cleanup and haul away roof related debris; Provide 15 year manufacture’s warranty
3. Montvue Park Restroom: Remove roofing material and haul away; Replace (3) sheets of 5/8” 4’x 8’ CDX plywood; Install 30 lb felt underlayment; Install all new painted perimeter metal; Replace all flashings; Install new 30 year dimensional shingles per manufacturer’s instructions; Provide 5 year workmanship warranty from contractor
4. Palomares Park (La Casita Teen Center Roof): Remove existing roofing material from the two original roofs and haul away; Replace any rotted roof sheeting as needed. ($95.00 per sheet for plywood installed if needed); Replace 60L ft of 2”x6” fascia; Build up new skylight curbs using 2’x6” lumber and replace both existing skylights with new 3”x3” commercial grade aluminum vented skylights; Box in 25L Ft of electrical conduit between lower and upper roof; Install Duro-Last 50 mil roof on œ” insulation or equivalent roof system per manufacturer’s
recommendations and attached specifications; Install roof manufacturer’s edge trim and miscellaneous details to fascia; Cleanup and haul away all roof related debris; Provide 15 year manufacturer’s warranty
5. John F. Kennedy Park Restroom: Remove existing roof, rotted decking, rotted fascia, 12’ wing walls and haul away; Install (60) 4’- 2” x 8” rafter tails scabbed onto existing rafters and 100L ft of solid 2” x8” blocking between rafter tails; Replace 100L ft of damaged screen on softfit screen; Install approximately 100L ft of 2” x 10” new primed fascia board; Install Duro-Last 50 mil roof on œ” insulation or equivalent roof system per manufacturer’s recommendations and attached specifications; Install roof manufacturer’s edge trim and miscellaneous details to fascia; Replace composition ridge caps to front of the building; Clean up and haul away all roof related debris; Provide 15 year manufacturer’s warranty
6. The Contractor shall proceed with the upgrades in a manner so as to protect the park sites from inclement weather & vandalism
