Rreplacement of a 60′ long log stringer bridge at Mile Post 5.3 of Forest Road 1107. Bridge work includes installing a 70′ long, Government-furnished prefabricated bridge (including concrete sills, backwalls/retaining walls, decking surface, & object markers). Work includes erosion control and resource protection, clearing and grubbing, removal of existing log stringer bridge, riprap, bridge installation, approach work, excavation and embankment, crushed rock surfacing, hauling of waste material, seeding and mulching. This project is located on the Mt. Baker Ranger District, of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. From Sedro-Woolley, WA head east about 17 miles to the Baker Lake Highway, then go 13 miles to Road 1106, 2 miles to the Upper Baker Dam, across the dam, and up Road 1107 5.3 miles to the project site.
