§ Contractor to repair, replace and install the necessary materials to complete the work identified below in the Base Bid requirements.
§ The intent of this project is to install additional lighting and receptacles in the location of the car shop which will provide better visibility and efficiency.
§ The Contractor shall be required to obtain any permits required for the installation of the work described below.
§ The Contractor shall install 12 new light fixtures around the vehicle hoists as displayed in the attached drawing. The lights shall be a Lumax HE Series T-5 light fixture equipped with Enhanced Aluminum Reflectors, Poly Carbonate Lens, Wire Guard and Motion Sensors or approved equal. Ceiling lights surrounding the vehicle hoists shall be a 2 bulb fixture with motion sensor activation on each group of 4 fixtures. Ceiling lights shall be mounted below the roof truss system and angled toward the hoists. Lights mounted on the wall shall be motion sensor activation at both levels and allow for angle adjustment up or down +/- 15 degrees. Lower wall lights shall be 2 bulb fixtures mounted no higher than 72” from floor height. High wall lights shall be 3 bulb fixtures mounted above the windows.
§ The Contractor shall install 7 new duplex receptacles as displayed on the attached drawing. There shall be a receptacle installed on each vehicle rack and the Department shall designate the location at the pre bid meeting. All receptacles shall have a clear cover over the receptacle.
§ The contractor shall relocate 3 current light fixtures to a new location as described in he drawing. These lights shall remain on the same circuit they are currently on.
