UT to Clarke Creek Stream Restoration
Consists of approximately 2,822 linear feet of Enhancement Level I, approximately 308 linear feet of Enhancement Level II, and preserving approximately 1,464 linear feet of UT Clarke Creek and several of its unnamed tributaries using natural channel design procedures. This restoration effort will consist of returning the appropriate dimension, pattern, and profile to the degraded stream. The work will include grading, installation of stabilization and habitat structures, replanting adjacent streambanks and riparian zones using native species appropriate to the area and practicing/maintaining proper sediment and erosion control. The project will also include preserving approximately 0.134 acres, enhancing approximately 0.166 acres, restoring approximately 1.02 acres, and creating approximately 0.137 acres of wetland area.
