RED CANYON TOILET BUILDING & IMPROVEMENTS POWELL RANGER DISTRICT, DIXIE NATIOANL FOREST PANGUITCH, UTAH
This project consists of constructing a toilet building and site improvements at the Red Canyon Visiter Center on the Powell Ranger District, Dixie National Forest. Work includes but is not limited to Demolition and removal of existing toilet building and concrete courtyard. Includes electrical systems and kiosk, and asphalt marked on plans to be removed. Construction of a new 480 square foot (24 feet wide by 20 feet long) toilet building. Includes excavation, reinforced concrete footing foundation, concrete floor, framing, siding, roofing, plumbing, and electrical, doors and windows, and finish work. Area and work within ten feet of building is also included. Construction of a new concrete courtyard. Includes electrical systems. Construction of a new concrete trail. Waste water system improvements. Includes tying in new toilet building to existing system, adding risers to existing septic tank, adding a dosing siphon tank and distribution box, tying into existing drain field, and adding 4 inspection ports (one for each lateral). Construction of new culvert. Includes excavation, concrete footing foundation, reinforced concrete retaining wall, installation of specified pipe, grading, veneer finish on walls, and finish work.
The contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, and incidentals to complete the work as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications.
The project is located on the Powell Ranger District in the Dixie National Forest, Garfield County, Utah. Township 35 S Range 4.2 W section 22. It is located approximately 12 miles south east of Panguitch, Utah. The site can be accessed by taking Highway 89 approximately 7 miles southeast from Panguitch, Utah then turning east onto Highway 12 for approximately 5 miles.
