Springtree Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant
Construction of reverse osmosis (RO) treatment system at the existing Springtree Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The RO system at Springtree WTP includes one (1) 1.5-mgd capacity unit with provisions to be constructed to accept a future second 1.5-mgd capacity unit. The RO treatment system generally consists of a process building (with clean in place membrane system, electrical and controls room, and process area) with modular skid mounted equipment, chemical feed system structure, and degasifier and air quality scrubber structure. The RO treatment unit is being procured by the Owner under a separate contract and shall be received, inspected, installed, and connected by Contractor. Contractor shall connect the RO WTP at Springtree to raw water well piping and replace well pump and equipment. Other site improvements including yard piping, civil paving, grading, and drainage are also required to integrate the new structures and equipment into the plant sites and existing facilities for disposal of RO concentrate waste. Systems including electrical and instrumentation and controls components are included in this project.
