Tinnell Memorial Skate Park Design/Build: The focus of this project is to provide for the design and construction of a new skate park facility. The design/build team should address strategy including a description of how the team will design and build a skate park that represents multiple uses, a variety of skill abilities, a distribution of terrain primarily focused on street skating and inclusion of transition style elements that compliment, support, and reinforce the goals of the skate park. The Design/Build team is encouraged to think creatively about the skate park design. The team shall consider a concept that is focused on skate boarding, but allows the potential impact of a mixed-use public skate park for all ages and skill levels, and inspires a sense of community. The finished park will provide a quality street skating environment that is able to host large scale competitions and events while engaging an aesthetically pleasing design within this larger community park.
