The PWRF Is Equipped With GE-Zenon Zeeweed® 500 Ultrafiltration (UF) Submerged Membranes Operating At 96 To 98 Percent Recovery, And May Be Supplied By Two Different Source Waters, Colorado River Water (CRW), State Project Water (SPW), Or A Blend Of Both. Coagulation With Aluminum Chlorohydrate (ACH) Is Periodically Required For Treatment Of The Source Water Supply. The Proposed Reject Recovery Facility (RRF) Project Involves The Construction Of A Low Pressure Membrane System And Associated Facilities To Treat Reject From The Existing PWFP. The RRF Capacity Will Be Up To 1.2 MGD, With 1.0 MGD Initially Installed. The Treated Reject Water Will Be Returned To The Head Of The Plant And Blended With The Raw Influent Water. Concentrate From The RRF Will Be Discharged To The Sewer System. The Work Requires GE-Zenon As The Microfiltration (MF) System Supplier (MFSS) To Provide Goods And Services. The MFSS Shall, In General, Provide The Following Equipment That, As A Minimum, Will Be Used As Integral Components Of The District’s Proposed RRF For Its Existing PWFP: Feed Pumps And Motors, Membrane System(S), Membrane Pumping, Equipment, Chemical Feed Systems, Including Chemical Storage Facilities, Chemical Spill Containment, Pumps, Piping, Instrumentation, Accessories, Wiring And Controls, Chemical Waste Neutralization System, Including Tanks And Pumps, Backwash System, Membrane Integrity Testing System, Recirculation Pumps, Valves And Actuators Required For Operation Of MF/UF System, Piping And Fittings (Within The Skids), Water Quality Instrumentation And Membrane Performance Monitoring Systems, Blower System, Air Compressor System, Flow Meters, Main Control Panel With Programmable Logic Controller, Other Required Instrumentation And Components For Process Monitoring And Control
