    I would recommend vinyl plank, you can find something looking like laminate or even better. It’s also cheaper.

    I agree that’s a real “green” option!
    It’s made of recycled tires and plastic bottles.

    Fiberglass insulation  might actually be a green option too. There is a next generation of this stuff available on the market.

    A new fiberglass does not contain formaldehyde and dyes.

    Using roof pavers, especially the cool ones, is one of the options. You just need to make sure that your building can handle that load because paving tiles are very heavy.

    You can also insulate hot water pipe but make sure that your heater manufacturer approve that.
