Atmospheric Hazards of Confined Spaces

The Atmospheric Hazards of Confined Spaces Cannot Be Seen and Often Prove Fatal.
The unfavorable ventilation of a confined space can cause the atmosphere to be life threatening instead of life supporting.

Explosive and toxic gases (hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide are two of the most common toxic gases found in confined spaces) and a lack of oxygen cause the majority of confined space injuries and fatalities. More that 60% of the fatalities occur among would-be rescuers of initial victims.
