Notes: Space behind and to either side of the range to be clear and free from hard objects.Background behind targets to be preferably dense trees, natural or manmade hills or protective sheilds.Range to be sited on fairly level land, free from obstructions, preferably sheltered from high winds and oriented to north (+ -) 45 degress.
Standard rounds for adults, 30 -100 yards. Standard rounds for juniors, 20 -50 yards. Target may be mounted on a round butt of spirally sewn straw or rush supported by a portable sofe wood target stand. Colors may be painted on an oilcloth cover. |
